Summary
MC wasn’t a girl.
He wasn’t sure ‘what’ he was, to be honest.
He used male pronouns because that’s what he looked like on the outside. He didn’t mind wearing clothing that looked more masculine or being considered one of the ‘boys’. Or even having male anatomy. But he also wouldn’t have minded looking any other way. Feminine. Androgynous. Hell, he’d be fine with having alien appendages; it might be interesting. At the end of the day, a human body was just a body to MC. No matter what parts were attached.
Truthfully, the only beings he resonated with were dragonflies. Impossibly fast and strong. Ruthless predators to some creatures, while to others they were just little goobers who would land on your head or hand during summers down by the lake; the insects not seeming to understand how easily humans could be cruel. And dragonflies weren’t always pretty. They were squishy eggs first, then grew into ugly, bulbous larvae. Only after molting did the nymph become what it had always meant to be.
But MC didn't know whether he would read his final stage; his personal version of a 'dragonfly.' Because that end stage involved a certain someone. A certain someone he called 'Ge'.
