In this universe I suppose the bread monster disease *actually* was a disease! They found out “some sort of beauty mark that metabolizes in an environment of pure wheat”, but they failed to run more kinds of tests so they continued to eat and share the teleported bread and eventually yk… outbreak of disease? idk I'm writing this on impulse.
