"What do you want to do today?" Prompto asks against Noctis' back, pulling him in as close as he'll let him. "I don't know," Noctis says, turning to face the other. "Do you just..want to stay here with me, sleep all day?" Noct proposes, his eyelids still heavy and he struggles to keep them open, he holds Prompto's face with his palm, keeping him as close as possible.
"It's raining outside," Prompto says, pulling the other closer. It's skin-to-skin contact, shared warmth under the covers of the blanket and Prompto starts to run his fingers down Noctis' back again.
"Then we can stay here all day," Noct states, pressing his forehead against Prompto's. The other nods, pulling him closer, if it was possible.

Pain erupts across Prompto's face, blood filling his mouth when Noctis’ fist connects with his jaw. It sends him reeling backwards, landing awkwardly on what rubble remains of the building they'd been fighting in, and the blonde groans out in agony. Spitting out the mess of viscera and saliva, Prompto glances around — only for fear to grip his heart and send an ice cold shiver running down his spine. He'd been cornered, and the eerie miasma that is the Prince of Lucis’ form stalks closer to trap him against the unforgiving rock.
In the middle of the chaos that had broken out, something had happened; Gladio and Ignis lay on the floor a few metres away, lifeless and torn asunder, and the air still crackles with residual magic that makes it hard to breathe.
Noctis had turned.
At the end of days, a promise is kept — if only it was under better circumstances.

"I knew you'd say that..You don't even have to go in—just'll be me. Besides..I'm dying to feel some warm rocks on my feet right now ." Prompto flashes a smile and Noctis rolls his eyes meanwhile smiling. "You're so weird." Prompto just replies with a snap of his camera.
"Ugh," Noct waves his hand in front of his face, "Just go to the water," Noctis tells him, peeking at him through his lashes and then glancing away.
"Not even gonna join me?" Prompto asks as he stands up, faking a pout. "Don't look at me like that, you know I'd rather watch you have fun."
