Summary
South Park was a town where anything could happen. And anything did happen. Perhaps that was why no one batted an eye when Timothy Burch was electrocuted by lightning the summer before his transition into highschool. Weirder things happened in the town on the weekly- weirder things had happened to Timmy himself last month.
Timmy quickly got to work reaching out to a select group of his peers, inviting them to work with him. For some he used their senses of justice, others the promise of fame- and some just wanted the abilities for cool powers. Nevertheless, by the time summer break ended and highschool life had begun, Dr. Timothy had amassed a group of 10 superheros.
They called themselves the Freedom Pals. Dr. Timothy had made a point to keep most of the groups identities secret from each other, giving the heros the choice to reveal themselves. He had inventions to alter the sounds of their voices, and most of Timothy’s creations had the side effect of warping the wearer's perception. In this way, as long as the Freedom Pals were using his inventions, they wouldn’t be able to draw the obvious connections as to who their teammates might be in the civilian world.

Kyle and Stan, usually from completely opposing groups at high school, found themselves at Clyde Donovan's epic party. The place was absolutely wild, brimming with everything a troubled teenager could want, from weed to plenty of alcohol. Everyone, including them, ended up pretty wasted that night. Amidst the chaos and their own inebriation, they somehow unexpectedly clicked, getting along famously and even exchanging numbers before stumbling off into the night.
The next morning, both woke up with a fuzzy memory and a massive headache. Checking their phones, they each spotted an unfamiliar name saved from the night before – "Randall" for Kyle, "Matthew" for Stan. Neither of them recognized the contact, but over the next few weeks, their texts flowed freely. They genuinely clicked, getting closer and closer, completely oblivious to the fact they were unknowingly building a bond with their sworn enemy.
((CONTEXT!! Matthew is Kyle's I'm pretty sure canon middle name, and it's said that Randall is supposedly Stan's and with Randy being his dad I see it.))

Just kinda a random fic? Me (Apollo) and my co-creator (Anakin) will be swapping every other chapter. This will be a mess, but it’s inspired off of Hellpark- except we are both way less problematic and the story isn’t problematic either!
