Summary
There are many meanings of being Alive, and CX-2 would only fit the scientific definition. It may have been activated, it may exist, but it does not live.
Unfortunately, away from Hemlocks machinations, certain malfunctions begin to surface, implying that perhaps at one time, it did.
(Or, I exploit loopholes left in canon to make a “Tech Lives” story that’s compatible with canon events, because I still believe!!! That man is alive dammit!!!)
