Summary
Tim starts remembering his life in flashes. At first, it's only single second impressions, later he starts piecing certain scenes together.
The point is the very first, and also the very last thing he remembers, is the Joker. He could still remember the smell of burning when Joker-Venom dripped on his bare arms until they were covered in raised bumps of discolored flesh. Remembers his desperation, his cries for help and the bone-deep knowledge that nobody would come help him anyway.
He remembers choking. He remembers the laughter that would haunt his dreams for eternity.
He remembers darkness.
He remembers choking again, only this time the liquid isn't hot and is still acid green. He remembers how soft fabric felt on his bare skin, remembers getting goose-bumps, and remembers staring at his arm which didn't have any bumps at all. Just perfect, unharmed skin.

Tim wakes up after he died. He's deep in the tunnels of Nanda Parbat, at the sole mercy of Ra's al Ghul. It changes him. The person that returns to Gotham isn't the same that left.
