Nastya made her way into the lab to find Raphaella at her table, which was covered with papers. Raph smiled at her, waving her over. Nastya stood over her and pressed a kiss into her hair. “You better not be dragging me into a fucked up experiment, angel.”
Raphaella laughed. “No, not this time. I don’t think either of us want to deal with… Anyway. No offence, but you really don’t know your way around a lab.”
Nastya sighed. “Yes, you’re right. I’m better with machines anyway.” She traced the port on her wrist, the thing that allowed her to connect with technology better than the rest of her crew.
Raphaella’s eyes darted to Nastya’s wrists, but she didn’t comment. She knew it was a habit of Nastya’s. She looked back to her face, grinning. “Well, that’s why you’re here!”
