Summary
September, 1918
The Meuse-Argonne Offensive has begun, forcing the German Army out of France and back into Germany. Some of the heaviest fighting is taking place in the Argonne Forest. For three soldiers of the American Expeditionary Force, they would be killed when a mortar round slammed into their position.
But fate has decided they should fulfill another purpose in a new world, where magic and swordplay replaces the roar of artillery and the chattering of bullets. With new allies, both unexpected and unusual, can these men find a place in this new crazy world they've found themselves in.
