“Those white girl, pumpkin spice lattes, annoy me!” Lance continued while laughing, trying to sell his lie as best as he could.
“I’m in love.” Keith joked back, but Lance's heart skipped a bit, as if the barista actually meant it. Lance smiled even wider to conceal his nervousness. “Name?” Keith asked with a small smile.
Lance tucked a loose strand of hair behind his ear - he really needed to get a haircut - and fluttered his eyelashes at Keith. He was cute, and Lance was not afraid to shoot his shot. Especially not now, after abstaining from his favorite seasonal beverage in order to impress Keith. He licked his lips while putting on a slightly sultry expression, before giving the barista his answer.
“Señor Awesome." And with a wink, Lance effectively made Keith's eyes widen, as he stared at him in disbelief.

Everything Lance has experienced he can't seem to get it out of his mind. His mental health has rapidly been going downhill after his dad started to ignore that he was one of his own and take his anger out on him. Lance thought nothing of this and took it as his punishment of not being able to compete with his siblings as he viewed himself so low compared to them. Nobody tried to change how his mind worked or even realised this was going through his head, and it seems that it stayed with him as he got older. He gradually started to realise ,as he got older, that there was something wrong with him and there was nothing to do about it as long as he stayed alive. Nothing made him excited only tired as he thought of it coming closer and closer than ending with him cancelling. But when he finds himself a bit eager to meeting Shiro's new brother he starts to experience something he hadn't felt nor been familiar with; he faces more difficulties other than his health.
