Summary
Allie Shorard: the face of the Northern Light Inn and tavern, she cares for her guests directly while Kori, her sister, who Allie swears can’t get a single thing right, cooks for the guests. When a party enters Allie puts on her best front and precisely directs her sister so that she doesn’t mess everything up. As she watches the group of them pass her to their chosen table she spots two of the men of the group that catch her eye.
Po Geitnger Thunnlakalaga: the shepherd of a small tribe that lives in the Wyrmdoom Crag. He protects those around him and works for the good of his friends and others. He is strong for those he cares about, but this hides his soft heart that lies beneath.
Void: the leader of a cult surrounding the trees that have grown around the city. He is a cunning leader that works for the gain of himself, but he is also very truthful. He is not the best with words, especially around women, but what he lacks with words is made up for with what he does for those he loves.
This battle for love includes the bets made by the rest of their party that will do what they can to win the pot of 50 silver that is up for grabs if they win. Who will melt the frozen heart?
