Summary
Nine boys awaken in a greenhouse at the edge of civilization. The earth is cracked, the stars are silent and magic humming in their bones. What begins as a strange contest becomes something far deeper: a fragmented journey through myth, machinery, and gods.
The rules of society and magic are older than they realize. The timeline is splintered. Each of them is already marked-by myth, by divinity, by a choice they haven’t made yet. Each step draws them closer to Zerose, the entity that watches and waits, and further from the world they once knew. Each boy is hiding a secret.
One is gone. One is currently dying. A few are lying.
They must navigate celestial encounters, haunted relics, and the slow unraveling of the bonds that keep them human. Some will be chosen. Some will be forgotten. Not all of them will make it to the end.
