He thought that Fiona knew him well enough, that she loved him enough, to at least hear him out. That was his first mistake: thinking that someone could ever actually love him.
Everything he did only made it worse.
Except, none of that mattered. Yuno had a job to do. He was a hacker first and foremost. His crew needed him to hack Maze Bank, and so, that’s what Yuno would do. Besides, he was fine.
Yuno was always fine.
