Lamb should have already greeted her and walked her past the veil. And yet the woman was not dead, and yet the girl would not die. She chose to chase the Wolf.
That should be where it ended. Another peculiarity in the ocean of lives Lamb had glimpsed, were it not for the newest god seeing that weakness. A god who had never seen the Kindred care, a god who saw the chance to finally move the immovable.
And what does Jinx think about all this? Fuck if she's gonna tell you, cause then she might have to acknowledge the things in her head and the weight in her heart. Hah! What a good joke.

Runeterra is an ancient world where everyone can find something of their own. The great empire of Noxus, situated in the eastern part of the northern continent, was always a realm whose ambitions were many and insatiable. For nearly a hundred years, they gradually conquered the central lands of Valoran and seemed unstoppable. However, as the empire pushed further west and south, they met a worthy opponent in the kingdom of Demacia. Not only did the Demacians push the Noxians back from their own borders after three years of war, but within the next half century they liberated all the kingdoms that Noxus had conquered, and the Noxians retreated to the east of Valoran, where they became a shadow of their former size for decades. Soon, however, the Noxian drums of war will beat again, and with them, many new ambitions will collide. Few suspect, and even fewer know, that this could be the beginning of the end.

Runeterra ist eine uralte Welt, in der jeder etwas davon finden kann. Das große Imperium von Noxus, gelegen im Osten des nördlichen Kontinents, war stets ein Reich, dessen Ambitionen vielfältig und unersättlich waren. Fast 100 Jahre lang, eroberten sie nach und nach die zentralen Ländereien von Valoran und sie schienen unaufhaltbar. Als das Imperium jedoch weiter nach Westen und Süden drängte, fand es einen ebenbürtigen Gegner- das Königreich von Demacia. Nicht nur, dass die Demacianer die Noxianer nach 3 Jahren Krieg von ihren eigenen Grenzen zurückdrängten. Innerhalb des nächsten, halben Jahrhunderts, befreiten sie alle Königreiche, die Noxus erobert hatte und die Noxianer zogen sich in den Osten Valorans zurück, wo sie für Jahrzehnte ein Schatten ihrer vorherigen Größe wurden. Schon bald jedoch, werden die noxianischen Trommeln des Krieges erneut schlagen und mit ihnen, treffen viele, neue Ambitionen aufeinander. Nur wenige ahnen und noch viel weniger wissen allerdings, dass dies der Anfang vom Ende sein könnte.

You guys remember watching that Legends of Runeterra video about Noxus, where Darius gives the slave girl a sword and he's like, "Noxus isn't so bad, its a meritocracy!"
This is taking that idea and trying to really give it some backbone. What does a country that Noxus tries to annex look like? Who are its leaders? What does a Noxian invasion do to them, how does it impact the populace, and all that jazz.
Specifically, this is the story of one man, with just enough political power to make a difference, and the plan to do it.
