“Now listen Screechers” Samuel said, opening the door to let out his rowdy son. “I have to stay at work, so I’m gonna leave you with Mr Felix in the Library okay? Remember to stay quiet and respectful”
“B-but Daaaaaaaaaaad!” The child groaned. “Mr Felix is weirdddddddd and I don’t like being quietttttt!” Samuel suddenly stiffened upon hearing someone insult his friend, yes it was a child, his child at that, but that didn’t change the fact that he was very protective of his friends.
“Scooter,” The black-haired child turned around, surprised by the lack of nickname.
“Yeah..dad?”
“How many times have I told you we don’t speak about people like that? Especially Mr Felix”
“Sorry…” The child muttered, before smiling again and attempting to do something between the lines of limping and running into the Hotel, which his dad just so happened to be the Manager of.Or in other words: A Modern/Human AU Doors Fanfic
