“Give me one reason why I should let you live.” Soobin’s voice was low, quiet, flowing like a ripple out of his lips, hitting a stone with a small ‘thud’, getting lost with the echoes of the empty space. His hand was trembling, just like his entire body, not out of fear, but sheer desperation, clutching tightly the device between his fingers as a sign of determination. But he was hesitating. He was even asking him for a reason.
He could see Yeonjun’s lips curving in a smirk. It wasn’t a mocking, neither it was gentle, it was a knowing one as if he was aware of something Soobin wasn’t, his feet slowly moving forward, the sound of his shoes hitting the wet floor like heavy droplets, rang in Soobin’s ears terribly. Yeonjun wasn’t supposed to move. He wasn’t supposed to get close to him. He was supposed to turn away and leave, yet he was walking towards him. Towards Soobin. The grip on the device tightened, knuckles turning pale white, a gasp stuck in his sticky throat as Yeonjun bent down, the head of the device hitting his forehead.
“A reason?” The man asked with visible amusement. “You just gave it to yourself, Soobin. You don’t want to kill me. No, you won’t kill me. Because you want me to show you everything.”
