“...Well,” He shrugs nonchalantly with a sigh, “I suppose I don’t care much for how it happened anymore. Just that when I get my hands on them, I’ll make sure they burn slowly and painfully, lighting every inch of them on fire and watching them disintegrate to-!” As he was just getting excited over his anticipated carnage, Rover cuts him off.
“I already dealt with them.”
Scar’s smile freezes on his face.
He pouts heavily. “Huh. You just ruined all my fun, then. Are their bodies still there, at least?”
Rover slowly looks to the side. “...No.”
“You burned them? Without me?! Rover, I’m hurt!” He tilts his head back with dramatic anguish, to which Rover was having none of it.
“No! Damn, you’re insufferable.” She huffs, closing her eyes to calm herself down before she commits another bout of manslaughter on the man she’s trying to nurse back to health (Scar wouldn’t mind if she did, though, their first dance was quite the thrill.)
Or; Rover saves Scar's life for a reason that is unknown to him, and during her first aid for him they have a conversation.
All the while, in the depths of his mind, Scar is more than a little infatuated with Rover.
