Summary
Sam opened his eyes and found The Pioneer staring back at him. The light above the shower shone in the host’s eyes as they drifted lower than was proper. The cool water was not enough to prevent Sam’s body from stirring, excited by the feeling of The Pioneer’s gaze. Then his eyes shot up and locked with Sam’s, filled with panic.
“Shit! Sorry, man.” He stumbled backward, fumbling around for Sam’s clothes with both hands and still somehow unable to completely tear his eyes away. “Didn’t mean to– The privacy shield is still– I respect you, you know that. Right, Sam?”
