Summary
Zayvier Valentino didn't expect to make it past his teen years, let alone make it to 26 years old. He didn't expect to make it out alive; no one ever did. Least of all, he didn't expect to get married to a cop, share a mortgage, and live an everyday life without watching behind his back or listening for gunshots.
