Summary
A series of letters, memos, and other documents translated from Qualith tablets found in Oryndoll; the largest illithid colony in the Underdark. In the Ceremorphosis Unit, they transform prisoners and thralls into new mind flayers to serve the colony's Elder Brain and further the Grand Design. But even in this cruel and alien culture, there is still typical workplace drama and passive-aggression...

Summary
Ansur, searching for Balduran across Faerûn, grudgingly enlists the help of a crew who will not call themselves adventurers. Years later, the mind flayer called Balduran searches Baldur's Gate for signs of his long-lost dog, Rascal.
This story is a Baldur's Gate 3 prequel that wonders about Ansur and the mind flayer that would be called the Emperor. How did their relationship deteriorate? Was it purely due to Balduran's ceremorphosis, or did it just make them both re-evaluate who they thought the other person was? In considering those questions, this fic theorizes about who and what is/isn't remembered in legends, the value of treasure and wealth, the power of a broken oath, what it means to be "worthy," and whether being considered "worthy" is really worth anything at all.

Summary
For all Mizora’s attempts to keep Wyll isolated and dependent on her, there is one thing she can never take from him: the Blade of Frontiers. In his head, Wyll rewrites his own story and tells himself tales of his ideal self. No pact binds the Blade, no stone eye sits in his socket, and he doesn’t have to thank a devil for the beard on his face or the depth of his voice. As he begins to unravel the mystery of Astarion’s easy charm and clumsy lies, Wyll even lets himself pretend that he could someday have a life beyond the hunt.
Mizora’s plans for Wyll go deeper than his pact, though. When she warps Wyll’s body into a shape of her own design, she also gives him a few gifts. Changes he has wanted for years are now permanently sculpted into his flesh with a fiendish twist, and Wyll can only ask himself… What would the Blade do?
Or: Wyll copes with his devil boner by writing fanfiction of his own alter ego, and Astarion tries out some high-stakes strategies for monster hunter seduction.

Summary
Sometimes ceremorphosis doesn't work out as planned, creating aberrations that are neither human nor illithid. With the mind of an illithid and the body of a half-elf, Zirkon is one such failure. He was nearly culled at birth, but only allowed to live so he can serve as a spy for the colony. Even so, he is teased mercilessly by the other mind flayers, and one day he just can't take it any longer. So he begins to search for the illithid within...

Summary
What kind of illithid colony chose not to cull an illithid as outrageously aberrant as the Emperor? How did it relearn the secret to building nautiloids, long-lost technology from the age of illithid dominion? Who was the Absolute, before it was the Absolute?
Tav remembers. They are one of the last thralls of the original colony, from before the madness seized the brain. Soon, they will be reborn as another nameless illithid, another cog in a senseless machine, no past, no present, no future. But then the voice of the Absolute falls silent. The nautiloid crashes. And Tav remembers what was lost.

Now with his master missing and presumed dead, Del is free for the first time in decades... And he has absolutely no idea what to do with it. Aside from the lingering brainwashing and conditioning from his time as a thrall, he's also got an unwelcome passenger inside his skull, an illithid visitor in his dreams, and a bunch of weird people with their own issues following him around. If Del wants to survive this tale of tadpoles and tragedy, he has to learn to think for himself.
