Summary
Learning that his ex-wife is infected with an illithid brain-worm, Raphael can't help but be a total jerk about it. And of course, what better way to try and reignite the spark than invite her to a private den within a brothel?
Ingrid Thomas has no intentions of letting her annoyingly charming ex-husband derail her mission to destroy the Netherbrain and protect her found family from an untimely illithid demise. Unfortunately, there was a reason she fell in love with him, and he's doing his damndest to remind her at every turn.
All the while, the ragtag group of companions have to tolerate watching their adopted mother fight like an old married couple with the insufferable devil attempting to trick her into signing away her soul.
