So in essence this puzzle will always be complete yet ever creating a new pattern. Hoping to gradually present the beauty of all their lives together. Like shifting tiles I may shift the pictures around too, as I have time. I'm actually being crushed by deadlines rn, sorry for the mess, but I figure They got tired working on the puzzle, too. When Quentin wakes up in a different bed than usual after another evening of using the emotion-stealing bottles, the first thing he sees is Eliot in bed with him. It’s hard to tell, but he’s pretty sure Eliot isn’t wearing any clothes. Then, Quentin’s gaze catches on Margo's arm wrapped around him, only then noting the added weight.
Before he can start to spiral, he notices blonde hair and a smaller body tucked behind Eliot, seemingly just as naked. Then he sees another, tanned arm over Alice's back, and a glimpse of Penny’s stubble pressed into Alice’s shoulder.
Huh. Quentin thinks dimly, and then he falls back asleep.
(Or: Skipping through timelines, Jane desperately searches for a road to victory, and any possible permutations of her chosen few having sex don't interest her-- though these permutations happen anyway.)
