Summary
“Dear Zoro,
How I wish that what bound us was love, not duty. Our bodies intertwined, but I never got the love I longed for."
"Every touch of your hand ignited sparks, faint yet real, like the flickering flame of a candle in the corner of our room, soon to be snuffed out by the wind of responsibility."
"We are much like that candle now—drawn to each other but fractured under the weight of our roles.”
“I wish... no, I ache for our child to be born of love, not necessity."
"The day I first saw you—Zoro—standing tall. I was stunned. I had never seen anyone like you. So different from my brothers or my father. You were powerful, commanding, and I... I think I fell in love at first sight. How foolish, to love a man I had never spoken to."

Nami’s eyes snapped to him. “Yes?”
“I… do know a place where we can stay for a while,” Zoro said carefully.
“Really?!” Usopp gasped in relief.
“I’ll call them.” Zoro reached for his transport snail, the crew watching curiously as he dialed.Series

I was only born into this shitty family and I’ve never done anything to deserve your loyalty from you or anyone in this Kingdom. I was imprisoned, exiled, declared dead twice. There has to be someone better than me for the job. All I ask is a ride, and then you’ll never hear about me ever again.”
