Summary
After the fateful night when Arctic and Foeslayer escaped from the Icewing kingdom, dark paths begin to unfold ahead of them. Arctic, having accidentally used his magic to kill his fellow Icewings, is gripped with regret and bitterness. Foeslayer, meanwhile, reels from her mother's hateful plans, and the shock of being used as a tool to give the Nightwings animus blood. But, as the jaws of fate start to close around the two lovers, Foeslayer is given a chance to fight back, enabling a new future: one where she and Arctic still have a chance at happiness.
