Summary
This is the last option. Nothing else has worked. I mean, it’s only been two weeks, but two weeks is as good as two months for stuff like this. Izuku isn’t waking up on his own. This is the last option.
“You’re sure it’ll work?” Shinsou asks. He seems skeptical, but then Shouto’s never been a great judge of expressions, and Shinsou doesn’t emote very much anyway.
The pro, Headache, seems uncertain. They shrug and make a face that Shouto can’t quite decipher. “I can’t say for certain,” they explain, “but, I mean, the alternative is leaving him alone in there.” Headache isn’t a conventional pro hero, they’re expertise is in a special type of rescue operation: coma patients. Their quirk allows other people to “jump inside” a comatose person’s head and physically find them on the inside. Izuku would know all the exciting facts about Headache– how many people they’ve rescued, their success rate, why the costume is even necessary– but he’s not exactly here. Not mentally. He jumped off of a building two weeks ago. It was a short building, and he survived with minimal damage, but even after his body recuperated, he never woke up.Series
