Summary
In this pre-Sherlock story, in Afghanistan, a cheap watch that Second Lieutenant John Hamish Watson, MBBS (as well as a licensed general practitioner and now a combat surgeon in his first year of training) bought at Oxfam during his first year in medical school is broken a few months into his first tour, and he needs a new one.
