Summary
The world burns.
A second wave of Celestial Nails rains down upon Teyvat, striking down those who have betrayed the sacred sacraments of the heavens. The Seven’s rebellion is extinguished, and the Traveler goes down with them. Entire nations find themselves as collateral, and the few survivors turn towards unsavory allies in their desperation.
A grieving twin carves what remains of the world apart in her despair, and rallies the desperate and depraved under a banner of vengeance, sworn to strike down the heavens themselves for their transgressions.
Darkness clashes against the Light once more, and the ark crumbles beneath the pressure. As the world barrels towards its inevitable end, a lone wind spirit is forced to seek out its creator.
It is only there, at the edge of time and space itself, where God and Shade meet once again. Together, mother and son weave a spell unlike any seen before, and rewind time itself.
Five thousand years in the past, teal eyes open once again for the first time; the God of Wind born anew.
But, what use is there, in a god of freedom bound by the shackles of fate?

In the begining of what will be considered the Archon war, Morax makes the unconscious decision of sparing an Adeptus sent to kill him, this small decision may change the course of history as we know it.
Alatus has lived his life as an enslaved Illuminated beast with clipped wings and treated as a weapon, his life changes when Morax spares him in the middle of a bloody batlefied.
This sudden decision will change not only history as we know it but... Due to an unforeseen change, it will become something more, something... Revolutionary.

This story is set between the 3.3 and 3.4 versions of the game. I started to write it before the release of Xianyun as a character to play, so there were some plot holes in context and in the story that were missing, anyway, I tried to fix them the most.

"Alatus pauses, fear seizing his being as he stares at the tall god, almost wishing the floor would devour him. His usual robes of gold, white, and brown are stained with fresh blood. There is no look of remorse in those glowing eyes, only one of satisfaction. Death hangs over Morax like a halo, and Alatus should run, but fear roots him to the spot.
'Leave,' Morax commands in a gentle tone that can still direct an army, pointing his bloodied spear toward the exit. 'If you do not wish to meet the same fate as your mistress and those who stand against me, you will leave this place. Do not turn back, little one. Run as fast as your body carries you.'
The servant dares to peek behind Morax, paling when he sees the mangled body of his god. Pillars of darkened and bloodied stones pin down her body. Her eyes are lifeless, rolled to the back of her skull while a trickle of golden blood leaks down her mouth. It should scare Alatus, but his soul feels lighter. He feels free for once."
Xiao is a broken bird, unable to fly, trapped in a cage. He wonders if he will ever be able to soar?

Rex Lapis, the stalwart defender of Guili Plains, rose as a god of war fighting for peace. Yet, among his countless adversaries, one stood unmatched: Ipos, the god of massacres, a force of chaos whose name became synonymous with dread. Their battles carved scars into the land, a testament to their enmity. But as the Archon War drew to a close, Ipos vanished without a trace, leaving behind only bloodstained whispers of her fate.
[Ipos is Y/N. The story is told from three different timelines. First, Pre-Archon war and Archon war timeline where Y/N's origins are discussed and Y/N is addressed as Ipos in third person. A lot of the story revolves around that, Y/N had two lovers during the time and that is shown in some chapters. Second, post-cataclysm, where Y/N is retiring to be a wine merchant and Y/N is referred to as "you". This is where the slow burn romance between Rex Lapis and Y/N happens. Third, Modern day Liyue, where Y/N is married to a certain funeral consultant, and is currently telling the story to people (and ruining Iron Tongue Tian's business). Modern Day Liyue will not be mentioned a lot.] -
