“You wanna show them who I belong to?” He asks once he draws back, mouth red and lips inflamed. TK’s breath becomes more ragged and he releases a faint sound that Carlos thinks could be a whine. “Oh, I get it,” He whispers, nipping onto his fiancé’s jaw. “You wanna show them who belongs to me.”
TK’s hips buck and Carlos chuckles, the sound rich and deep. He lies back and splays his body across the machinery, something stirring in his groin when his fiancé pushes himself up and rubs their crotches together.
“Come on, baby,” Carlos mutters, words wrapped in a carnal vice. He wraps both hands around TK thighs and smirks. “Take control.”

Summary
Carlos Reyes is being swallowed by the sun; or, at least, that’s how it feels when he looks at TK Strand. Even though night has cloaked the sky, Carlos took one look at those twin sage eyes and knew then and there he’d found the light of his life.
At first, the realization scared him; knowing that a man he’d just met had that kind of power, that much power over him. He stood there, transfixed by the curl of TK’s lips as he smiled, beaming with pride as he and his father shared an unspoken confirmation after the chaos of the crash.
TK looked over, and though it was brief, it was enough. It was enough for Carlos to know that his other half was no longer locked away between scriptures and confession, but standing right in front of him. Tangible, real and blinding him with a light that rivaled the gates of Heaven.

In the early hours of a mellow May night, TK Strand wakes Carlos Reyes and proposes to him. A baffled Carlos initially starts to talk TK down – as if assuming he might not mean it. This is the story of why.

He’s smug when he enters him. He gets to be. No finger-stretch is quite enough for Carlos’ thickness, and TK grits his teeth at the exquisite burn – so familiar, yet always a shock. Carlos catches TK’s mouth with his as he opens wide, his head tipping back. Carlos licks at TK’s lips, his tongue, his teeth. He loves the way he can make TK’s mouth open with words or make it open with silence. He can make TK’s mouth open like he can’t open it wide enough to get all the air he needs, or to let out the moan trapped around his heart. He loves TK’s mouth so much, he just has to kiss it, even if TK’s mind has bent sideways and he doesn’t have the wherewithal to kiss him back right now. On his desk at work, Carlos keeps a picture of TK grinning beautifully. It’s his favourite thing. That smile, that mouth. He thinks about it all the time.

Carlos stares. Carlos has just been proposed to. By TK Strand. TK Strand has just proposed to Carlos Reyes. TK Strand, who Carlos loves more than anyone in the world. TK Strand, who defined love at first sight, who Carlos was ready to propose to the day they met, but instead had to settle for asking the guy to dance. TK Strand, who just wanted something casual, until he didn’t, and then they broke up anyway, and then he nearly died and they got back together, and so many sad and intense and wonderful things happened, and then he brings a lizard home to cap if off. TK Strand who is chaotic and impulsive and passionate and the strongest, funniest most beautiful person Carlos has ever met. He has just proposed. This is everything Carlos wanted.
But there is still something in Carlos that can’t believe this is real... -
