Summary
The seeds burst like confetti and the wind snatched them up with greedy fingers, and Jamie wished, deeply, fervently, with a belief he hadn’t had since the day his dad had burst back into his life, that he could have been there for Ted when he’d needed it, just like Ted had been there for him.
. . .A drunk Jamie makes a wish. Because his luck is rubbish, the universe takes it a little too literally and turns Ted into a teenager.

Summary
”You already won, you know? You got that turkey out of your life.”
Rebecca had, yes, but Nate Shelley had just introduced that turkey into his life.Nate would regret his inability to apologize to Ted Lasso during the West Ham match immensely. Rupert intentionally prevented him from being able to, Nate would conclude, far too much time spent overthinking that match so as to not think about what occurred after it.
”Quite a snub not to shake his hand at the end of the game.” All Lasso wanted from Nate was a handshake. Nate missed that. Missed having a boss who wanted nothing more than that.

Summary
“You concussed?” Isaac asks.
Colin blinks. “Did Van Damme multiply?”
“He should have. O’Brien is bad at his job,” Jan Maas calls out.
O’Brien flips him off.
“No, still only one Van Damme.”
“Ah,” Colin says. “So, either I forgot how to count, or I am a little bit concussed. Take your pick, mate.”

Post the West Ham game, the players recover from their injuries and choreograph a song-and-dance number. Because why the fuck not?

Summary
When Roy offers to train Jamie he really means just that. Just him training Jamie and hopefully managing to help him become better. He truly does believe in the kid, after all.
But it's still them and with them nothing is ever easy and simple and it doesn't take long for things to get complicated.

Summary
When Jamie still doesn’t answer at 4:15, or pick up his phone, he doesn’t think concern is what he should be feeling. He’s pretty sure he should be feeling pissed. He is the one trying to train the fragile little bitch after all.
But concern pools in his chest anyway. He’s sure that this isn’t like Jamie. Not now.

Summary
The twisted feeling in his gut isn’t muted at all, and that, Nate knows, is chiefly because he never got the chance to speak to Ted. He wanted to apologize, to explain, but he was interrupted, first by the elevator doors opening and then by the coincidental presence of Mr. Mannion—Rupert—Mr. Mannion—Rupert.
Of course, it was hardly a coincidence, and neither was Ms. Kakes handing Nate an invitation from Rupert right as he was making his way to speak with Ted after the match. That’s the universe, isn’t it? Always out to get him.
Nate just wants to talk to Ted, but a series of increasingly absurd interruptions get in his way. However, he refuses to let the universe have the last laugh.

Summary
“Fuckin’ Jamie Tartt,” the man grits out, his grip tightening on the glass he was holding, “You think you’re a big, tough man, huh? Think you can mess with West Ham on the pitch and now you think you can just mess with their fans in the club?”
Suddenly, the close proximity of people eases up as everyone begins to make themselves sparse. This on its own begins to send warning bells ringing.
Of course, he’s a fuckin’ West Ham fan.
“Probably should’ve bought your team Plan B with how much we fucked them.” he spits back, the alcohol making him say shit he wouldn’t have if he was sober.

Summary
Save for a grand piano by the large picture window at the end of the room, and a fireplace running parallel to a long banquet set as a bar, there is nothing to suggest that this room is for anyone but Rebecca.
As there is no seating aside from the piano bench, Trent makes his way and does his best to lift the bench away to quietly make room for his knobby knees.
A soft “Oh.” reverberates off the naked walls, and before he can drop all the way to the seat, he turns to see Ted Lasso, a dismissive hand in the air, turning to leave.
