Summary
Sometimes good things happen. Sometimes even to Winchesters. After the showdown with Lilith in New Harmony, Sam, Dean and John are shocked to learn that not only do angels exist, and are aware of the Winchesters, but each Winchester has been given their own personal guardian, a guardian that seems to reflect the personality of the Winchester they have been assigned to. As Sam, Dean and John are introduced to Gabriel, Castiel and Michael, they learn that they haven't always been as alone as they thought, and that the selfless hardships that they have endured, the sacrifices they have made, have not gone unnoticed. And as Gabriel, Castiel and Michael come face to face with the humans they have been charged to defend, they discover that it may not end up being demons and monsters who are the biggest threats to the Winchesters, but their own inner demons and trauma. But an angel (or an archangel) doesn't back down from a challenge, and they are determined to treat the Winchesters as the heroes they are- and make them see that they deserve nothing less
