Summary
Peter's eyes shutter open mechanically, a bear-trap-snap to consciousness.
It’s a reflex more than anything—even as he feels his eyes move, the blooming ache of rigid muscles, the faint tremor of his limbs, the biting cold in his fingertips, his brain still lingers behind, fuzzy around the edges.
Slowly, like wiping the condensation from a foggy bathroom mirror, the world sharpens to murky clarity: he is not at home, in the cozy cramp of his childhood bed, tinny laughter from sitcom reruns burrowing through the walls. He isn’t slumped over his workbench in the lab, the thrum of rock music replaced by the gentle, mechanical hum of Tony’s arc reactor.
He is outside, rooted on an unfamiliar sidewalk, a jagged crack running underneath his feet like a split lip. A sharp pain cords around his muscles, from his heel to the nape of his neck.
His mouth tastes like dirt.

When HYDRA captures Spider Man on a Saturday night after an exhausting patrol, Peter is convinced this is it. Eddie is pretty fucking sure his neighbor is Spider-Man. And Spider-Man also works at The Daily Bugle, selling off actual goddamn pictures of himself. And, okay, the guy also sells any picture to the station that can be used for an article - he’s got good talent.
Eddie is also pretty fucking sure, at one time, everybody and their hamster knew that Spider-Man was his neighbor. Or, well, knew it was him, his face and name.
Which is Peter Parker.
______Or: Eddie Brock is slowly ruminating on life, and how to live alone for the first time in a long while. Peter Parker struggles similarly, but several anti-hero types (and some heroic) keep trying to feed him, while Doctor Strange learns he is not the smartest man in the room.

Peter was 99 percent sure Tony Stark knew exactly who Spider Man was ever since Stark Expo. He had been very careless that day, but in his defense the man was a genius and would have figured it out eventually anyway.
That being said, the Avengers have been trying to ‘recruit’ him for at least a few months now and yet, somehow, they still had no idea that he was Peter Parker. As seeing no one, no Avenger or a shield agent, had come into their home and gave Aunt May a heart attack.
Honestly, Peter wasn’t sure why Iron Man was actively protecting his identity. Could it be he trusted Spider Man? (honestly, the fanboy in Peter might faint at the idea.) Or maybe it really wasn't that important and he was just saving the information for later? Or maybe he understood why Peter kept it a secret.
But whatever it was, Peter didn’t think or care much about it as long as the man kept his secret. And on the tiny chance that he didn’t know his real identity, it would only be a matter of time before he found out.

It’s been a stressful month.
Peter had somehow turned up in this place, Gotham, and had spent the past few weeks figuring out how to survive by the bare minimum. His Spider-Sense had been buzzing nearly constantly. And maybe it was the slow-paced starvation that sunk into the deep of his bones, but he was also incredibly moody.
That left him as an over-exhausted, nervous, starving teenager who was alone.
So yeah, it’s been a stressful month.

Well, basically Peter gets transported to Gotham and befriends the Wayne family while Tony is going batshit crazy trying to figure out a way and get him back. Lots of trauma to unpack for Peter.
From the other side of the story, Venom also gets transported to Gotham, but he gets mistook for a villain.
Both are helped out by my oc, Fade, so they don't remain homeless and starved for too long, but her impact on the plot itself is not that big. (well maybe she created a few misunderstandings but that's to make it more fun)
