Summary
Inspired by the Panic! At The Disco song, 'This is Gospel' (seriously, google the lyrics!)
Set during Tony Stark's memorial service, Bucky questions why he's there, his head full of doubts and self-recrimination. Steve shares a potentially life changing decision with him. This is my interpretation what is going through Bucky's head at the time.
The second chapter continues with the theme of a life changing. There is also forgiveness and possibly new beginnings as well as a possible introduction to the upcoming Falcon/Winter Soldier series.
If you're anti Endgame, anti Steve Rogers in this movie then this story will not be for you. There's no ships, no smut just Bucky, Steve and Sam, having a conversation. It's angsty in places, sad in others and I hope, hopeful by the end. Love to hear your thoughts.
