It isn’t even a real fever. Not technically.
It’s a 99.7°F “maybe you stood too long in the sun” kind of fever. A “take off your coat and drink some water” kind of fever. A “the gods laugh upon your suffering because this isn’t even a real sick day” fever.
But Zhongli, patron saint of overreactions and dramatic pauses, approaches it with the solemnity of a mourning dove at a funeral. A very well-attended, state-sanctioned funeral with ceremonial incense and floral offerings and perhaps a casket carved out of geo crystal.
“You’re pale,” he says, tone already six inches into the grave. “You’re flushed. You’re—by the Archons—sweating. Lie down immediately.”
“I just ran up the stairs.”
“Lie. Down.”
“I feel fine.”
Zhongli, who has not slept, eaten, or blinked since the Sneeze, responds by forcibly tucking him into bed with the inexorable strength of an Archon and the pained silence of a man who has read six medical journals in the last twelve hours.
In which Childe sneezes once and Zhongli begins planning the funeral rites.

Summary
Upon obtaining info about a summoning ritual occurring in Dragonspine by the Abyss Order, Diluc heads to stop the plot. He ends up on death’s door while trying to rescue Diona from being used as a sacrifice for the ritual, and is used as the sacrifice instead. He is rescued by a certain ginger Harbinger and things only get more complicated from there after his long dormant Delusion usage taints his Vision due to after effects of the ritual.
(Or, Diluc has a bad time and is completely oblivious to the fact that he has multiple people pining for him, two of whom are Archons. Warnings and tags may change/be added onto as the story continues.)

Tommy screams as the person in front of him swings his sword at him. Tommy draws out his dagger and growls at the man. “ the fuck is wrong with you! “ Tommy said harshly. The man in question stares at him with a snarl, he runs towards Tommy at high speed.
Tommy growls again and dodges the attack, he raises his dagger up and cuts the man's side, blood splattered on Tommy’s cheek and dagger.
The man screams in pain and covers his wound with his hand protectively , he holds his sword with one hand. Tommy sighs as he wipes the blood off his cheek, he really hates blood and wishes to avoid this but he had no choice since the man wouldn’t explain why he attacked Tommy.
“ look I have no idea why you attacked me but- “ Tommy’s sentence was cut off was he felt himself fall down, he quickly looked down and saw a portal under him.

Though the former Archon was thousands of years old, he had almost no knowledge regarding the offspring of someone like him. Sure, there were some examples of human-adeptus hybrids in history, like Ganyu and Yanfei, but Zhongli was the Prime Adeptus. And his husband was very much a human male, nothing like the women who birthed the other half-adepti. The gears in his head began to turn as he thought about all of this, trying to wrack his brain for any examples in the past that might be a suitable comparison for his current situation.

You are a researcher from Sumeru that has come to Liyue to write a paper on Morax and his yaksha. You meet a handsome gentlemen named Zhongli who offers to help you with the topic. He takes you out to dinner and discusses a field research plan for you and him, as well as a friend of his. The next day you meet up with him and a young man with teal hair and beautiful eyes to go to some places Morax and his yaksha used to visit. The two seem rather close you often catch Zhongli kissing or hugging him.
By the end of trip you realize the young man is an adeptus... but why would an adeptus let Zhongli kiss and hold him so causally. After they invite you over for their yearly get together the answer becomes quite clear.
They take turns kissing you and each other, before long clothing is stripped off as the heat rises. They sandwich you between them ready to go for more...
