Summary
The three times where Sebastian thinks that something strange is going on between Mark and his step-son.
The two times where he tells himself he's surely, surely, mistaken.
The one time where he realises that gut feelings never lie, and the truth is always more complicated than it seems.

Summary
Seb doesn’t want to admit to himself that when Oscar is fucking him, all he thinks about is Mark. He thinks it’s probably fine, or at least it’s not as bad as it would be, because Oscar is thinking about Mark too.
-
“Ah, Ma-,” Seb manages to cut himself off, not moan the name of the man who’s not present but haunts the hotel room like a spectre. It doesn’t matter, though. The half-syllable that Seb says into the pillow hits Oscar’s ears, bounces around in his head like a pinball before falling out of his own mouth, finishing what Seb didn’t even have the balls to start.“Mark should be here, he should see you like this,” Should see me like this, is what Oscar doesn’t say.
---- Or, Oscar fucks Seb and they both think about Mark.

Summary
The first time Mark mentioned Oscar’s name, was probably during one of their normal dinners at home, when Sebastian was on break week between races. It wasn’t even anything grand, just Mark mentioning that he was looking into this Australian rookie and thinking he might sign him up. Sebastian knowing that despite spending a lot of time at their home in Switzerland, Mark was still a very proud Aussie who wouldn’t miss a chance to promote some fresh Australian talent into the sport. Sebastian could respect that and it was quite endearing how excited his husband got over the chance of potentially getting a new Aussie into Formula 1. Maybe the kid could be the next Australian Formula 1 champion. It wasn’t until the whole contract- gate with Alpine when Sebastian realized that maybe Oscar indeed was something more than your average rookie Mark was managing.
