Summary
“So, Nancy and Jonathan are sure about this, right?” Eddie murmured, not looking up, his voice low and warm, punctuated by a thoughtful hmm for Joseph’s narrative.
Steve ran a hand over Lily’s surprisingly heavy head. “They’re sure. It’s their anniversary. I told them they deserve a full twelve hours of uninterrupted quiet, or at least twelve hours that don’t involve discussing kindergarten registrations.”
“They picked the right guys, then,” Eddie said, finally meeting Steve’s eyes with a brilliant, lopsided grin that still, after all these years, made his stomach flip a little. “We are, after all, the babysitting kings of Hawkins County. You have the hair, I have the innate ability to create a convincing dragon noise.”
or Eddie and Steve babysit Nancy and Jonathan's kids and they realize that's the life they want.

Summary
Felt inspired to write a spin-off to expand the universe and give Billy a redemption arc. OC is written as AFAB but I use they/them bc it feels right. Conceptualized and written before the release of S5. This is my first post, intended to be a plot-heavy slowburn. Comments and feedback highly appreciated.

Summary
1983 - Hawkins, Indiana.
The girl looked terrifying, fresh out of a slasher, and Steve had led her right into his home.
Out of everything that he expected to see in the woods that night - the woods home to old tall tales of monsters who snatched up children that ventured too close - she was the last thing on that list. A teenage girl bloodied and bruised, with a glint of something unnerving behind her eyes. It filled Steve with dread, and he was completely unsure of his next move.
or
In which Eleven wasn’t the only child of Hawkins National Laboratory who escaped on that cold November night.

Summary
"You're dreaming, I should think," His breath caressed my skin. It was there and then gone, far too fleeting. "So why am I here, Sixteen?" I didn't have an answer.
"I don't know," I muttered. My heart thumped noisily in my chest. I could not think. "Can you make it stop?"
His eyes flitted over mine. I could feel him like an infection. Crawling through my veins, warming my blood, shutting down my organs one by one until I was helpless, left with no other option aside from watching as he overtook me.
"Do you want me to make it stop?” He gently tilted my head up. I was soundless as this all unfolded, unable to fight it, unsure if I even wanted to.
~
After Sixteen is abducted and taken to Hawkins Lab, she must adjust to life under the oppressive glare of Martin Brenner. Peter Ballard, an orderly who oversees her training, aims to the transition all the more difficult.

Summary
It’s November 1983 and Will Byers has disappeared. Mike, Dustin, and Lucas met Eleven during their search for Will, but she’s not the only person that escaped from the lab with supernatural abilities.
Soon after her escape, 004 aka Luna, found her way out too. Luna is smaller and not as strong as Eleven, but she has elemental powers as well.
Something about Will is familiar to these girls, but they’re not sure what. They want to help find and rescue him, even though they haven’t met.
This version follows a lot of what’s canon for season one, but adds in the character of Luna, a lab worker named Zack that was kind to the girls and worked on an escape plan, Joyce and Hopper’s search for Will, and Will’s time in the Upside Down and how he’s staying alive while searching for a way to contact his family and friends, and find a way out.

Summary
“What’s this all about, Hop? You’re not trying t’tell me she’s - that she’s involved in this, right?”
The man bites down on his cheek, looking back at the sleeping girl and letting his mind wander to another child he had met. Hair shaved, a dirtied dress a tad too big, eyes full of sadness and knowing. She had been called Jane. A name too innocent for a girl to crawl on her hands and knees to escape confinement, to scavenge for food. Too innocent to face the same nightmares Autumn had walked through. Monsters, voices, something undeniably profound. A man of mystery hidden away in the dark, on the run and on the hunt.
A deep breath fills his chest, spilling forward with a collapse in his shoulders as he confesses, “I think she already was.”

Summary
When the portal to another dimension continues to grow inside Hawkins National Laboratory, Dr. Brenner decides to send Number Five through for recon. The only other child that survived the massacre besides Eleven, Five's psychokinetic abilities aren't what the Lab hoped for. The talent they have listed in her (very short) record is the manipulation of electricity, a rather destructive ability that cost a fortune to manage anyway. They send her through the portal, cutting the loss when the harness they put her in comes back empty and covered in blood.
But Five isn't dead. She saw an opportunity to break free and she took it. Out of the Lab's reach and no longer inhibited by sedatives and Soteria, Five's impressive electrokinesis and killer instincts will flourish when she lands in the care of Good People following her chance encounter with a young boy trapped in the Upside Down. With time, she’ll learn to navigate every day life in Hawkins and make friends outside of the Party, but it’s the town’s resident metalhead that will see her for what she truly is and what she is ultimately capable of.
*Starts in S1. Some canon divergence as of S3 (Eddie appears here).

Summary
Cera Burton was never supposed to end up in Hawkins. But after the night her best friend was killed—and the shadows inside her answered back—running wasn’t an option. Now she’s the new girl with too many secrets, a fake smile, and eyes that never stop scanning for exits.
Then there’s Eddie Munson: loud, chaotic, too observant for his own good. He shouldn’t matter. But somehow between D&D, heavy metal, and late nights at the record store, he starts to.
She didn’t mean to care. And she definitely didn’t mean to get noticed by the people who made her a target in the first place.
The deeper Cera falls into Eddie’s world, the more dangerous it becomes for everyone she lets close. Because Hawkins isn’t safe—and neither is she.
And monsters wear more than one face.

All the while, though, he couldn’t shake the feeling that the struggle wasn’t quite over yet.
It was February 1991, and Will’s struggle was finally over. He had, at long last, gotten the boy; the missing piece in his heart, the love of his life, Mike Wheeler. He had everything he’d ever wanted. But little did he know, standing in his open doorway on that brisk December morning, that the Mike Wheeler of his childhood was gone. As he processed this new reality and grieved the old one, Will had to understand what it meant to be in love with this version of Mike Wheeler, and decide if he even wanted that at all.

Summary
He doesn't bother holding the child when he first meets it. It's small, weak and squalling; whatever affection he's meant to be feeling is more like how he feels about Clau's current boyfriend. It's nothing to write home about.
His sister is a determined to celebrate though, so he deigns to take a traditional picture at her request.
They still leave the hospital empty handed- the picture goes up on the mantelpiece to be ignored for nearly a decade.
