Summary

He decides he needs a port-call and that means that the stormtroopers are allowed one, too, although Kylo can hardly imagine they would manage to scrounge up any entertainment in the barren sands of Jakku.

This has been playing in my head for years. As a long-time Star Wars fan who's seen it all more times than I can count and read novelizations, I rewatched the sequels for maybe the third time to test a theory, and I was right. There's a lot in the sequels, given the comic canon and SW legends, that makes narrative sense. I'm not even mad that Rey is canonically a Palpatine. The writing is the problem. There is precedent for Palp having cloned himself and failed to turn his 'son' to the dark. But grayness might be the key here. The dark and light need each other, and in them is the balance that the Force maintains; but they don't need to be in conflict. I want to explore this. I'm rewriting the last 10 minutes of TRoS. The whole Finn/Jannah romance is moot; don't care, didn't happen. I like Jannah, though. We all know Finn/Poe is end game. The focus of this fic is Reylo, but eventually I'd like to add some Finn/Poe. Love Rose, but Finn and Poe were always gay as hell. Also, for the purpose of this narrative, the Falcon has a bacta tank. Yes, I know canonically the Falcon has not had a bacta tank--I don't care. It does now.
Planning on updating throughout the week. We'll see where this goes. :}}
