Summary
In 1996, the U.S. unearthed a rare material buried deep beneath its soil. The Extraction was rushed, reckless, and the by-product seeped into the air, water, and bloodstreams. Entire regions were polluted before the government realized what it had unleashed.
Twenty years later, the first generation of children born in those regions began to show impossible traits. Stronger, faster, sharper. Intellects beyond normal. Some could control plants, some could control animals. They were Gods among humans.
