After enduring a brutal defeat, Bowser has seemingly turned over a new leaf. The citizens of Mushroom Kingdom are wary of this, but a peace treaty has been signed between the Mushroom and Koopa kingdoms and a celebration will be held to commemorate the alliance of the once opposing kingdoms.
Luigi has been tasked with personally delivering the invitation for Princess Peach’s ball to celebrate their newfound peace to King Bowser. During his time at the Koopa King’s castle when the chance to get to know each other better arises, a shift happens between them. Unintended openness, kindness, the telling of secrets, and more is revealed, and they realize that perhaps there is more to the other than meets the eye.
I don't know much about Mario. I didn’t grow up on the games or anything. Because of this, I am sure there will be many things that aren’t accurate in this fic, but I am writing this for fun so I hope others enjoy it too even if it is inaccurate.

Kamek casts a spell on Bowser, which would allow him to read the first person he touches mind. This was supposed to be Mario so he gather inside info on the Mushroom Kingdom, but Luigi being the clumsy little guy he is, accidentally falls into Bowser, and now Bowser is stuck being able to read Luigi's thoughts until Kamek can break the spell. The only problem is that Luigi has a massive secret crush on the Koopa King, which he figures out fast. This is Unexpected development to say the least. How will it turn out, what does Bowser think of this? Only time will tell
