But sometimes, life gets in the way. Sometimes, what you want might not always be what you get . . .
This is a spin-off story from my Reylo fanfic BEN SOLO: THE WAY HOME. While it does have mentions of Ben and Rey and other Resistance characters, the primary focus is Poe and Connix. (Just managing Reylo expectations!)

Summary
Rey is Coruscant Elementary's youngest principal ever and is very proud of the life she has created as a single parent. The school board gives home grown musician Ben Solo a job as a music teacher when they have a last minute opening and the recently injured Rock Star needs health insurance and a slower pace of life to recover from a tragic car accident. But life is about to drastically change for both because ten years ago Rey was a groupie to "Kylo Ren" before he made it big and they hooked up a over a weekend. Ben's favorite student is also his daughter.

Poe isn’t too thrilled about the plan, and he definitely lets Finn know it. And as if having an uncooperative client weren’t bad enough, there’s the problem of Finn’s ever-growing crush on the Prince. But Finn is professional, and he’s determined to find the Prince a boyfriend.
The rest of the palace, however, has decided that Poe’s new boyfriend should be Finn.
