Summary
In a world of chaos and justice, there are two gods playing chess, hoping that the other will lose. After years and years, they decided to instead play a game with humans as their pieces. They would each choose one pawn, who would shape the world either for good… or for evil… One would be alone and wallow in his weakness. While the other would triumph with the help of his confidants… This cycle has gone on and on without stopping. But when a confidant dies without meaning or reason… Well… Both gods knew that it would change the tides of the game forever.

Summary
Uncle Tatsuya smiled at her with kindness and love before pressing his Zippo lighter into her hands. The words “What is most important cannot be seen with one’s eyes” were engraved on its surface.
“It’s yours now, kiddo.” He whispered, his eyes telling her that everything would be okay. “Something to remember me by.”

Summary
The story should have Makoto storming off to confront Kaneshiro after hearing Ann call her useless. It should lite a fire in the girls heart and lead to her becoming a Phantom Thief.
However, that is not how this story goes. Instead the opposite happens, it puts the fire out in Makoto and she doesn't awaken to Johanna that day and instead she trudges her way to the gym she frequents instead where she meets a certain gymnast, thinking she is someone else, who has just finished training for the day. This leads to the two of them forming a bond and slowly they work together to help solve each other's issues and uncover something more than either would expect.(Weekly uploads (hopefully))

A small mistake is all that's needed to send your life spiralling out of control. Faced with an impossible decision with no right answers, Niijima Sae makes a choice that sharply diverts the course of not just her life, but her sister's. Separated by the cold hammer of justice, the siblings are faced with demons they never even dreamed they would have to grapple with.
With the loss of all that she once held dear, will Sae be able to climb out of the dark pit she now finds herself in? And will Makoto, after the foundations of everything she once believed in fell to pieces, be able to find justice in this cruel, irrational world?

Summary
Makoto's mental health had never been good, but it was hard for her to believe how far gone she was just a few short days ago. She had truly reached her breaking point, and she shuddered to think what would've happened to her without the Thieves. Awakening to her Persona had cleared her head, but being clear just made it easier to see the monsters at the bottom of the lake. Monsters ready for her to fall off her new lifeboat, to tear her asunder when there's no one to help her. Still, she had to be strong. Her only path now was forward, side by side with her friends, praying as she walked that the monsters don't surface once more.
A rewrite of Makoto's confidant with a focus on her mental health, the traumatic reality of being a Phantom Thief, and why maybe it's all she ever needed.

Summary
There's something undeniably cozy about spending the evening huddled with all the people she's come to know through being a Phantom Thief. At first, the cold outside will have everyone with a cup of coffee, but eventually, with so many people, it becomes much too warm inside to want another. Every year, despite their numbers, or the volume of conversation, it never feels claustrophobic. Sometimes it's a little overwhelming, but more akin to holding your hand next to an open flame : a warmth that doesn't quite burn.
Today is just like every year. Makoto mingles, she enjoys the atmosphere and makes idle conversation. However, every now and then, despite her best efforts to enjoy the moment, she finds her eyes wandering back to Akechi.
-or-
One moment Akechi is dead, the next, he isn't. Turns out he's never been.
