Summary
Adam wondered if he could list all the reasons why he so deeply adored him, why he'd fallen in love, one for every star; but he found that his reasons quickly outnumbered the celestial lights of heaven. His thoughts became like the stars that straggled just outside of constellations, all disarray and unorganized, but beautiful all the same. He watched the arc of the milky way stretch out overhead, expanding infinitely across the sky. And even still, it was only a fraction of the light within their universe, a speck standing upon a speck standing upon a speck. He considered the light of Andromeda, 2.5 million light years from their tiny little planet, stretching across time and space to one day collide against their night sky. They stood as a fragment of one tiny little galaxy against the infinitely expanding cosmos.
And even still, all that light and void could not capture his adoration.

Adam wasn’t sure he was ‘good’ at school, he hated the place most of the time. The schedule and teachers were alright, it was the people, the other students, that were the problem. “I get good grades,” he decided on, “Mainly science and math. Why?”
“I’m failing.”
“Oh.”
This was the problem with other students.
“I’m sorry?,” he tried awkwardly when Nigel eyed him with and expectant look. Adam stared right back, or well, at the perimeter of his left ear.
“I’m not giving you any answers,” said Adam finally after a few moments of silence and he watched Nigel raise his brows in response.
“No, Raki, I want you to help me study.”
Now it was Adam’s turn to look at him in shock.

Hybrids go through heat a couple of days a month and share very strong bonds with their families.
Will Graham lives his daily life teaching at the FBI while helping Jack Crawford solve violent crimes. One day, his friend Nigel, director of the NekGO shelter, calls him to inform him that there is a DNA match in the system. Turns out, he has a son. Hannibal, known as Hanni, who will change Will's life in every way.
