Summary
Battle of Hogwarts, Great Hall: at the very moment when Harry defeats Voldemort, a voice speaks to him and to him only. It's Death: he's pleased with Harry for his actions and for having used his Hallows properly, and he decides to reward the Chosen One. So, when everyone starts celebrating and Harry starts setting aside the voice he has heard and its words, the very people he saw while holding the Resurrection Stone reappear. They reappear in the flesh. And they're not the only ones...
With Voldemort's death, his lingering spells disappear, allowing someone else to return to the land of the living - someone who has been trapped at the bottom of a hidden lake for almost twenty years.The Marauders & Co must deal with their own traumas and discover how to cope with their new life. Regulus must find a way to come to terms with himself and face the repercussions of his past. All of them, fortunately, can now rely on each other.
And someone, now that the war is over, might get an epiphany on how to solve a certain furry little problem.

È così che mentre tutti stanno festeggiando, e Harry inizia a credere di aver immaginato quella voce e le sue parole, che riappaiono le persone che ha visto mentre teneva in mano la Pietra della Resurrezione… e sono in carne ed ossa. E non sono i soli. Con la morte di Voldemort scompaiono anche tutti i suoi incantesimi residui, permettendo a qualcun altro di fare ritorno nel mondo dei vivi - qualcuno che è rimasto intrappolato sul fondo di un lago nascosto per quasi venti anni.
