He didn’t seem all that bothered by it, even making a few jokes about it with Marc and Alix. When Marc had voiced his concerns, Nathaniel had waved him off, insisting he had grown used to it a long time ago. It was obvious no one was doing it out of maliciousness, he said. Marc still didn’t think that excused how often they forgot him, but Nathaniel kept telling him it was fine so he dropped it.
He wished he pushed the issue more. Maybe then they would have avoided this situation.
