Summary
This date was going to be perfect. Gaara had been working on the logistics of getting Sakura out of her evening meeting, keeping Naruto well away from them, and ensuring his siblings had plans so they wouldn't notice him missing since the start of the Summit. Their favorite street stand had even agreed to work with him, offering one of their rare tables for their dinner date.
The dango sticks after their orange stir fry were just an added bonus.
Finally, on the bridge over the river in Kohona, under the twinkling starlight and bright moonlight as they walked hand in hand, Gaara asked Sakura to marry him.
