They could still see. They could still see how their siblings still climbed, how they still fell and broke their fragile frames on the sharp spikes and rocks below. Useless motions now that the light was gone, only filling the floor with the bodies of thousands of dead newly born lives.
Stop! The light is gone! STOP!
The others didn’t listen. They still climbed.

Despite some experience in his earliest year or two of being an apprentice, being sexy was very much so one of the things on the long list of things he simply never could be.
But, then again, Sheo has made him realize that he can be so much more than he once thought. He made him realize that he could be creative, content, happy, loved- that he could love and live and smile. Sheo has always seen things in him that he never could. And Sheo keeps getting oddly distracted when painting him… so…
Maybe, just maybe, it wouldn’t be foolish to think that he could be reading this right. Maybe he can be sexy.
A post ambiguous relatively good ending for Hallownest smut featuring these gay bugs because there’s not nearly enough fic on a03 of them and idk other sites so I’ll make it myself because if I don’t I’ll explode and die and then my Sheosmith and Odypen fic ideas will never thrive. This one is very fluffy.

A crippled man named Cromwell goes on Holiday with his family. Before take-off he decides to have a quick nap because getting up at 2 in the morning to go on a plane is terrible.
This nap goes awry, and waking up with his backpack, wheelchair and phone he finds himself face to face with a sleeping being who proceeds to slap him into a portal, and once again he finds himself in a familiar place.
Armed with whatever he finds in his bag, his phone and his wheels, he tries to survive in this strange land, figure out the mysteries of the people and find a way to get back home.
Or better yet, someone to hug because he has had a terrible day and requires a good cry. -
