It was supposed to be a simple raid. It wasn’t supposed to end with a new being in Dazai’s arms. It wasn’t supposed to end with the bits of humanity he chased away from his heart reviving. Dazai was supposed to be the Demon Prodigy, the most ruthless and hell-bent man of all of Yokohama and Port Mafia history, and A-157 was supposed to be just another experiment that would bend under Dazai’s command like every other before.
But the human, a soul broken much like Dazai, reached his hand out to him, and Dazai couldn’t help but reach back. -
