Summary
Dazai Osamu has been in a coma for over a year and a half, trapped in limbo between life and death, waiting for the end. But instead of his family letting him go, someone else moves into his old apartment— Chuuya Nakahara, a bitter, freshly unemployed musician.
Despite his disbelief in the supernatural, Chuuya can’t ignore the persistent ghost of Dazai, who seems unable to leave his own haunting existence behind. As the two form an unlikely, often tense bond, Dazai’s melancholy begins to bleed into Chuuya’s life, forcing him to confront his own feelings of being stuck and disconnected. Together, they must grapple with questions of fate, free will, and the weight of their pasts—before they both can truly move on.
