Saphir Stellamaris wouldn't call his a lot a charmed life exactly. Sure you get to wear fancy silks and jewels and rub elbows with the Gate's Great and the Good. You also have to serve them in whatever way they request. Thankfully they'll pay out the nose for a taste of something exotic and his particular skillset makes it so he doesn't have to endure the worst of it. Still with his coffers now overflowing Saphir wonders how to start extracting himself from this lifestyle and how exactly someone of his background is going to make his plans for the future work. After all a foulblood no matter their breeding is still a foulblood at the end of the day. And even the most progressive cities would most likely balk at his ideas. Although...maybe...maybe this Gortash fellow could be a way of getting his hoof in the door. After all if someone of common blood can rise through the ranks at the rate he has surely he knows something of breaking through glass ceilings.
The man in fact did not have anything helpful to share.

Summary
Sometimes seeking out new experiences might not what you expecting to experience. After installing a secret mod, I found myself within the Forgotten Realms, for real, fighting for my life and for those adorable companions that we meet along the way.
They also say that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing and events depicted in a video game aren't necessarily the ones you are expecting to encounter. Starting with a heavily modded custom honour mode run might not have been the smartest idea after all. Still, I get to meet and be with the amazing people who just need a little help from a friend.
A/N ~ if you are reading this you've most likely played the game and will have a good idea as to what happens within the progression of the game.
This is a first person narrative that I've chosen to create which takes us on a journey where the parameters of the game no longer matter or are applicable. The encounters and major events of BG3 are mostly the same as you would expect yet circumstances and choices made in the story alter future events and outcomes.

Astarion is taken in the dead of night by the mind flayer ship; a nautiloid, snatched from Baldur's Gate during a nightly hunt for yet another victim to bring home to his master. He first lays eyes on a suspicious pair of females after the ship is attacked by the dragon knights, smoke and fire surrounding him after being released from his pod. A female high elf and a gith running freely around the ship, that needed further investigation from his side. He tried to follow them in an attempt to learn more about this shitty situation and in hope that they could show him a path to freedom, but then he fell. They all did.

However, strange quirks and even stranger teammates keep upping the ante as they try to solve their parasite issue. She does her best to keep calm in this new world, trying to solve one problem at a time. Although, having the large lizard man hovering over your shoulder half the time could make things more difficult. And if she does find him cute, she can unpack that thought later.
Just a nice slow burn romance with the default Durge and a monk isekai'd Tav named Lana. What could go wrong?
