Summary
In a universe where no friendly neighborhood Spider-Man exists, Earth 42, Miles Morales immerses himself into a life of crime and vigilantism as he struggles to cope with the loss of his father. He takes upon the role of the Prowler, succeeding his uncle Aaron, who serves as a mentor and father figure towards him. He meets an unlikely friend, Gwen Stacy, who acts as a shining light and offers hope amidst Miles's world of darkness.
