It all just kind of happened. A boy needed a job...and a hero needed a sidekick. So, that boy became a kid, and that Kid became Danger.
Four years after his sidekick career ended, Henry is the saviour of Dystopia, fighting crime with Jasper at his side. They've come a long way since their childhoods in Swellview, never forgetting who and what they left behind, but time moved on.
For Ray and (y/n), that meant retirement. The end of Danger Force. A home in the country. A baby. A chance at settling down with the family they always wanted. And, for one year, that's what they had.
Life is good when there's no crime to worry about, no villains to fight, and no meddling kids to clean up after. That is until Missy Martin came along.
It seems their story isn't quite finished yet...This story is mature in places with adult themes and language and uses she/her pronouns for a female reader. However, anyone is free to read and enjoy :)

He merely glared at the guy when Chapa lunged at the cell bars with a growl.
"You little—!" she started, but quickly jumped back with a squeal when she was electrocuted. Which, of course, was ironic, considering it happened to Volt.
"Ah, ah, ah!" the criminal waved his finger threateningly at Chapa. “Careful, little one. If I were you, I'd save my strength," he stood up straight and smiled, "you'll need it. At least until Captain Man shows up..." he finished and, without waiting for a response, walked away laughing.
Chapa growled under her breath as she watched the man walk away.
“You guys have no idea how much I want to roast him a little."

Henry knew that coming back to Swellview wasn't going to be easy.
If you had asked him a year ago if he would return to that town, he probably would have laughed sarcastically and responded with a big "no."
But... in the last year, everything had changed quite a bit.
Now he lived in Newtown, building a new image as a local superhero from scratch.
and, as usual, he wasn't alone: he had a sidekick. Missy Martin.It's no exaggeration to say that the whole situation filled him with nostalgia.
and ,the most important thing.
Newtown was only 45 minutes away from Swellview.Maybe he should visit his hometown, right? After all these years, what's the worst that could happen?
Maybe he'd take Missy with him, if she annoyed him long enough,

In short, the entire town of Swellview spent years wondering what had happened to the Harts' eldest son.
and when he suddenly reappears accompanied by Missy, everyone assumes she's his daughter.(even if it doesn't make sense)
And here we see the points of view of some Swellview citizens and Henry's acquaintances during his slow disappearance and sudden reappearance in town. -
