Summary
Link wakes up two years after Ganondorf injures his arm and sends Zelda back in time. His only thought is getting back to his boyfriend, Sidon. However, in the time Link has spent sleeping, Sidon has moved on. The only problem? Link hasn't. Obviously, this causes some problems.
Now, Link has to live with the reality that the fact he no longer feels the flow of time means that his interpersonal relationships will start falling apart. No matter how hard he tries, he can't stop them from crumbling.
To sum it up, the angsty SidLink breakup fic no one asked for.
Featuring: Describing Muzu as crusty, Hylia being awful, and extremely flawed relationships.

Link laughed, ‘What?’
“I was having these heart palpitations! The whole experience was very frightening.”
At this point, Link was bent over, laughing so hard that he was in tears. “Zelda,” he choked out her name aloud, ‘Did you think she was attractive?’
“What?!” she cried. “Of course not, I just—“
Zelda stalled out for a moment, recalling the way she felt with Urbosa’s hand on her, the quickening of her pulse, and the way Urbosa smelled delicious, and the way her voice had muddled her brain–
“Oh no,” Zelda responded out loud. “Oh no, no, no.”

Summary
100 years ago. Zelda would have done anything to have Link by her side once more. Memories or no.
But after all was said and done, she feels as though she's a stranger trapped in a new land. Haunted by what once was.
Link knew from the moment he woke up, an empty shell of a person, that he needed to save whoever was calling out to him.
Now armed with fragments of his past. He feels as though he cannot live up her expectations of who he once was. Though recalling may be painful. He wishes he had the memories to be the person she needs.

The Hero of Legend was supposed to be a hero without rival. Looking at the boy in front of Sheik, he thinks perhaps the Goddesses went wrong somewhere. Link doesn't know anything about the land he's supposed to save or the Hero he's supposed to be.
That's where Sheik comes in.
